The Shroud of Love; Meditation #2
Amor,
For some people who only use their eyes, the sky’s limit is the blue expanse that they can see. That is immense and enough for plenty of people; I don’t fault them for that. There are a sort of people, who are far less common, who don’t use their eyes. They don’t need to see “the sky” because they know it’s only a shroud. My connection I feel with you: it is beyond the shroud.
There are few people I feel this way about in the world. I don’t think people are meant to be compared. EVERY person, whether I see it or not, is priceless. So, I don’t compare; it’s not significant.
What is important is beyond this intangible shroud. It is as if everyone has one string going up through the shroud. And on the other side of the shroud, it is unwound, so that all the fibers are spread wide. Once spread, every single fiber has a different musical note. Yet more than anyone can conceive.
When one note comes near another note and they resonate together… when they harmonize… they fuze. Some fibers only waver towards each other or touch for a short time. But when there are two which fuse… they won’t ever become separated.
So, see it’s impossible to compare because there are infinite notes.
Notes cannot help what they harmonize with; they only do what they do. This is why you cannot help the depth of a relationship with someone. It’s only a matter of how we are thrown into this world.
I never thought I would be the kind of person I am today. No one does of course. But for me, I feel like a stranger to myself sometimes; other times, I feel a tranquility between all the combined forces which led me to be where I am now. When I have more of that unity in my spirit, I can see how significant it is that our fibers are fused.
Of course there are tons of ways to add meaning to one’s life, and multiple ways in which everyone does. I add meaning to my life partly by acknowledging these fibers.
I love you.
